Since 1998 mostly while in pajamas and under the dark blanket of night in various homes, rooms and stages of life I have recorded music under the moniker of STARS ARE INSANE. Exploring a wide range of home recorded sounds of shoegaze, ambient, lofi, folk, bedroom pop, field recordings inspired by the likes of Flying Saucer Attack, Azusa Plane, Dump, Sentridoh, Yo La Tengo, etc. "Partial History: Volume 2" is a collection of 24 songs all culled from various EPS and compilation tracks that were all released as limited lathe cut singles, cassettes, cdrs, etc. Limited to an edition of 25 white clamshell cassettes with hand stamped labels and housed in a clear, vinyl cassette album box, insert with liner notes, download card and a one inch button.
