Two years since the last release, long running home recording project Stars Are Insane is back with its eleventh full length effort titled "Waiting For Calm And Then Letting Go". A collection of ten songs that traverses an ambient soundscape accompanying experiences of loss, longing, reflection and then as the title states, letting go; finding new wings to soar upon. Where darkness smothers, the light of a new tomorrow prevails through the tiniest sliver; offering a hope perhaps unseen prior. Ballads of reverb drenched ambient shoegaze meshed with the intimacy of a spacey bedroom pop. For fans of Flying Saucer Attack, Dump, Sentridoh and Yo La Tengo.
