Following up 2014's wonderful "Bloom", Glasgow's Hiders is back with a brand new release called "Slow Burn". Featuring eight tracks of fuzzy guitar jangle indie rock Hiders builds upon the strong foundation laid down on the previous release. Waves of warm, dissonant guitar chords and churning bass rhythms move the songs forward with honest, subdued vocals bringing it all home. In a age where many vocalists reach for that higher register James Morgan makes an even stronger presence with his laid back almost ambient vocal melodies. Channeling the sounds of Sonic Youth, Polvo, North of America mixed with the pop sensibilities of The Posies, Hiders comes out swinging with this brand new release. Limited to an edition of 40 white cassettes with full color glossy j-cards and full color printed labels.
