There has been a nice little renaissance if you will of great indie rock here on Long Island with new bands starting to sprout up who sound like they came via a time machine circa 1994. And one of those newer bands are none other than Deep Pockets. Formed by Matt and Darren of Everything Sucks , Conor of Thought & Memory and Justin (formerly of Gracer); Deep Pockets play jangly, melodic 90s styled indie rock the recalls bands like Pavement, Silkworm and Sebadoh. For months these sounds were stewing in a basement in Hicksville and now Deep Pockets are ready to share the four song demo with the world. This debut release is limited to 200 pro duped/imprinted cassettes and packaged in full color j-cards. Comes with a download code. Split release with Just A Audial.
