After years of receiving one horrible demo submission after another one day I got an email from Jeff Lane to check out his project Tereshkova. I went in with the lowest expectation given the inordinate amount horrible demos I have encountered in my time, however I was immediately blown away by what I heard from Tereshkova. And exactly what I heard was some wondrous textural yet minimal at times a shoegaze, ambient and dream pop hyrbid. Tereshkova deftly switches back and forth from breezy, synth driven layers of ambiance to pure reverb drenched bedroom pop.
