about

When I did the "I Know Why They Call It Pop" cassette compilation a few years back I honestly didn't know how people would respond to it. Fortunately people responded very, very well and almost immediately people were asking when I would do a second volume. I felt as if the time had to be right, I didn't want it to be some annual sort of predictable kind of thing that became not special because the whole idea of this was make a compilation be special again because I feel as if the compilation format had lost its luster. The time is right for a second volume to "I Know Why They Call It Pop" and without further delay here is a list of the artists that will be featured all with exclusive tracks: Bare Pale, Abandoned Houses, Imaginary Pants, Gelatin Kids, Daniel Fromberg, The Only Ghost in Town, Ron Beaudet, Exit Bag, Former Selves, Bearchild, Cola, Nicole Kidman, Hanna Elson, Kent State, Shivering Window, Monogamy, Ramon Speed, Brahms, Outside the Museum, Secret Beach, Uncrushworthy, Morgue Toad, Tereshkova, Math and Mike Naideau. This cassette is pro duplicated with imprinted orange cassettes packaged in a case with a cardstock j-card.
